Financial Literacy

This free service provides basic financial information to any adult over the age of 18 about  how to manage and improve their financial habits.  The service is offered in English, Spanish, French, Burmese, Nepali, Vietnamese, and Farsi.  Other languages are available upon request.

Some of our most popular financial literacy seminars are:

  • Money management and budgeting
  • Introduction to U.S. banking
  • Credit basics
  • How to avoid predatory lending and identity theft
  • Pre-purchase and post-purchase homebuyer seminar
  • Home preservation and financial survival skills

Locations and Schedule

Weekly seminars are conducted at different agencies in the community and at our DeKalb/Fulton County office.
