After School Program Needs Your Help!
Help us send students from our After School Program (ASP) to the High Museum of Art.
ASP partners with Indian Creek Elementary School and focuses on families in the Clarkston area of East Atlanta. The goal of the program is to ease new students into the American school system within a safe and uplifting environment. They offer homework help, extra tutoring, enrichment, and activities that encourage self expression.
This summer, CCA is sending students from the After School Program to the High Museum of Art to provide learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
Staff have thoughtfully planned a standard-based day in which students will participate in either the Animals in Art or STEAM Tour.
The High Museum is providing free admission to our ASP students, but we still need to raise $1,000 to offset the cost of transportation and food. By donating, you are directly impacting the education of our ASP students by allowing them to have a unique learning experience where they will engage in reflection and discussion about their visit.
A $33 donation will sponsor a child’s visit and any donation will help us reach our $1,000 goal!
