Mission Advancement Coordinator

As a member of the Mission Advancement team, the VISTA Mission Advancement Coordinator will build awareness of the agency’s programs and services through marketing and fundraising efforts. VISTA will be responsible for producing, posting, and tracking social media and website content across our platforms. VISTA will create marketing collateral for the agency and for supporters to understand how CCA brings clients to self-sufficiency. VISTA will transition all graphic designs, ads, and social media to match new branding. In addition, devise a method for staying connected to all agency programs and their events through photos and social media posts. VISTA will set-up a media contact list and write and distribute press releases as needed for grant awards, staff achievements, agency events, and client impact stories. Apply Here

 

 

Volunteer Resources Capacity Associate VISTA

The Volunteer Resources Associate VISTA works with all of the programs in the agency, with a focus on Refugee Services. VISTA will implement the next phase of the in-kind inventory system, documenting new procedures. In-kind responsibilities include collecting, recording, and distributing in-kind donations. VISTA will produce infographics and other materials to illustrate the in-kind donations received and distributed. The VISTA will develop new volunteer opportunities (for groups and individuals), assisting with the recruitment, scheduling and supervision. VISTA will help train the volunteers, manage them during their shift/event and collect monthly timesheets. Volunteer opportunities might include a mock refugee camp, organizing at CCA warehouse, and events in a senior residential community. VISTA is key in the enrollment, distribution and coordination of all activities related to the Christmas Connections program which provides gifts to 4,000 people per year at six locations. Events Specialist

The Events Specialist VISTA is key in the planning and execution of all Catholic Charities USA (CCA) fundraising events. These include a 5K, an annual soiree, and President’s Circle donor cultivation events. The role includes coordinating with venues and vendors. VISTA will document processes and procedures around our events (where none exist) and devise new methods, ensuring these events are replicable and sustainable, with the goal of expanding our top of mind presence in target markets and with supporters. VISTA will compile and analyze past silent auction data as a guide to find new donors and determine how to expand the capacity of current ones. VISTA will creatively secure new and appealing silent auction packages to increase money raised. Working with staff members, board members and community partners, VISTA will create a database of potential in-kind donors for our annual soiree and aid in the transition to a new auction platform.
