Christmas Connections 2022-A Success!
Another Year of Christmas Connections is a success!
On December 10th, over 4,050 people received Christmas gifts through Christmas Connections! Working with approximately 165 volunteers and board members, staff distributed gifts to 854 families at six locations—all in one day! A special thank you to the staff who led the volunteers and logistics at Northlake, Central Mobile Home, St. Joseph, St. Anthony, Cobb County Head Start, and St. Bernadette.
It all started on last summer with preparations with Christie Crane, Manager of Volunteer Resources and her amazing staff and volunteers. They literally prepare a list of gifts from over 800 families and facilitate the Parishes to buy for these families. It is an act of generosity and love from start to finish. The amount of effort, time and money that goes into a project this large can only happen with Gods blessing.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
If you would like to volunteer or know of others that would like to help with helping others in our Community, please email Christie at ccrane@ccatlanta.org.
