Resources for Parishes
Catholic Charities Atlanta has a number of workshops, seminars and trainings that will be made available to parishes, Catholic schools and other community groups beginning in February of 2009.
We encourage you to review the list of available services and consider having Catholic Charities Atlanta come and provide one of these important presentations to you and your parish or school.
CareForTheTroops
Sponsored by Catholic Charities Atlanta, representatives from CareForTheTroops, a local interfaith organization already established in Georgia, will present a program about mental health problems of returning Georgia veterans, and how our local faith communities can support them. Clergy, mental health providers, service members and family members affected, or those in the parish interested in this special lay ministry may RSVP to attend the meeting. It will be held on Thursday, February 18th at 7:00 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (101 Walt Banks Rd, Peachtree City 30269).
