Make an IRA Roll Over Gift:
If you are 70.5, you may roll over up to $100,000 from your IRA to CCA without paying any federal income tax on your gift. Your gift will qualify you for your 2023 required maximum distribution and you will not have to pay federal income tax on the amount given from your IRA to CCA. To make your IRA rollover gift, simply contact your custodian and request that an amount be transferred to Catholic Charities Atlanta.
Make a charitable Gift of Securities:
Consider donating appreciated securities by December 31, 2023 that you have held for more than a year for a full-market-value deduction and no capitol gains tax.
