Serving, educating, and empowering individuals and families to obtain long-term financial stability.
Financial Coaching
CCA offers a unique opportunity for the community to access education and financial counseling that takes families’ and individuals’ financial needs and culture into account. We start by getting to know the people who will become our clients. Financial counseling is a collaborative effort between the counselor and the client to help the client identify goals and potential solutions to financial problems. Financial counselors can also help clients improve communication about money and give them appropriate coping skills or make recommendations to help them relieve the severity of financial issues. Financial counseling can help the client move along the spectrum of increasing financial knowledge, promoting financial behavior change, and improving financial wellness.
We discuss their financial goals and establish a detailed personalized action plan to help the client reach their goals systematically. Our counselors develop a budget, review credit history information, and educate clients so they can understand strategies to reduce debt; establish or re-establish credit; dispute errors on your credit report; develop a management plan to increase monthly cash surplus; establish emergency funds. Currently, our clients can maintain ongoing counseling sessions with the advisors for up to a year or until the clients are able to handle the situation on their own.
”I wanted to thank you for all your help and extended efforts to get my loan modification application re-opened and approved, and helping me save my house from foreclosure. God bless you, you are always in my prayers

Financial Empowerment
Financial empowerment includes financial education and financial literacy, but it is focused both on building the ability of families and individuals to manage money and use financial services and on providing access to products that work for them. Financially empowered families and individuals are informed and skilled; they know where to get help with their financial challenges. This sense of empowerment can build confidence that they will be able to effectively use their financial knowledge, skills, and resources to reach their goals.
This series of workshops provides families and individuals with financial knowledge, skills, and resources so they can get, manage, and use their money to achieve their goals.
Topics include:
- Introduction to Your Money Values
- Credit as an Asset
- Money Management and Budgeting
- Cash Flow Analysis
